Hi, I'm Matt.

I'm a Humanists UK celebrant based in London, and I create ceremonies with warmth, humour and enough calm around the edges that you can actually enjoy being in the middle of one.

In my other working life, I help organisations build more inclusive cultures. So making people feel seen, comfortable and able to show up as themselves isn't an add-on to my celebrancy. It's simply how I work.

Weddings come with a lot of traditions.

Some are beautiful. Some were simply never designed with all of us in mind.

They can make assumptions about gender, family, faith, ability, who walks down an aisle and even what love is supposed to look like.

I don't think you should have to edit yourselves to fit your ceremony.

So we start with you. Your relationship. Your people, whether that's birth family, chosen family or both. The words, music, rituals and little details that actually mean something to you.

We keep the traditions you love. Lose the ones you don't. And create new moments where they make more sense.

Together, we'll create something warm, meaningful and unmistakably yours. A ceremony that celebrates your story and, hopefully, one people will still be talking about long after the confetti's been swept up.
